[FL] After being charged with third-degree battery on a law-enforcement officer without evidence, and being injured and mistreated in custody, should I accept pretrial intervention or fight the charge?

I’m currently being chartered with BOL 3rd degree. I got a lawyer who, when I told her what happened, told me she could get it dismissed. And then after a few court dates she tells me there is no way to get it dismissed because it was a law enforcement officer this charge was about, so she discussed PTI with me. I’m apprehensive to sign it — I saw the discovery, I have the videos, I don’t see me kick anyone. Matter of fact, they had no right to cuff me. I was walking away from them. Then after they get me to the jail, they strip me naked, basically threw me around like a rag doll. I had bruises everywhere which I have proof of — my ankles and my wrists, I had a bruise on my face. Naked, and for a day and a half I had to take meetings naked in a cell. They finally did the physical evaluation and realized I was not crazy. This was not good. They put me in general population.

Can I vacate a protection order entered without notice?

My half-brother lied and said I sexually assaulted him. He filed a police report and got an order of protection. It was dismissed in General Sessions, but he appealed to Circuit Court and it was granted. I didn’t know about the appeal or court date. Now I’m in a database because of this order. I tried to sue him for lying, but the judge dismissed it without prejudice and said Circuit Court has to hear it.

Can I file a new protection order or take legal action against my neighbor for ongoing harassment, threats, and doxxing after my previous order was dismissed?

My previous anti-harassment order against my neighbor was dismissed (pro se filing). Since then, the harassment has escalated: multiple videos of threats and false accusations, texts from new numbers, and an AI-generated video/audio of “lawyers” saying I’ll be charged with felonies. They’ve also doxxed me online (posted my birthdate and employer). I’ve blocked all contact, but they continue targeting me and creeping on my property. Police often refuse to document. Do I have grounds for a new protection order or cease-and-desist?

I was arrested for domestic violence in New York City, but the charges were dropped without prejudice before I was arraigned. I was fingerprinted and photographed, but I never went to court and never received paperwork. I understand my case should be automatically sealed under CPL §160.50. How can I confirm that my record has been sealed properly, and what steps should I take if it hasn’t been?
