I’ve been getting the run around. I’m trying to get a passport from the Zimbabwe embassy. I had my passport confiscated at the Border Patrol in Buffalo, NY. I was supposed to receive it after my case was dismissed at the US immigration court office in San Antonio. I won my case. But I never received it after the case. They told me they sent it back to immigration. And now the Zim embassy is telling me I need a police report because it’s lost. But I can’t seem to get any answers from anyone. I just need to see if there’s a way I can get a police report so I can go back to the embassy before they close today. I have to go back to Dallas today.

My wife has been threatened by border agents with green card revocation during her last two US entries. She works in Europe and spends most of her time there (we’ve done this for 30 years without issue). But we live in the US, pay taxes here, own property, have joint accounts, etc. I’m naturalized, but she can’t naturalize due to the substantial presence requirement. Immigration officers are suddenly treating this as problematic. I would need advice on how to handle this situation. What do we do if the border agent refuses us entry and/or takes away my wife’s green card?
