Normally, you would also need a medical directive form or medical power of attorney with the financial one, so that all rights are clearly delineated.
It's actually usually best to keep them separate, since they have very different uses. Some powers of attorney can include both, but the medical by itself can be clearer for when using it with doctors or the hospital.
