I just filled out the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney document and I was wondering if this document would need to be notarized. I am also wondering if I need to send this document somewhere or if my assigned agent just takes it to the DMV when registering my vehicle.

While Arkansas law doesn’t require a notary for a power of attorney (POA) for a vehicle, it’s strongly recommended. Notarization makes the POA more legally binding. Your appointed POA takes the original document to the DMV with the title (see DMV locations).
The fastest way is to sign it in the presence of a notary at a UPS Store or FedEx Store since they offer notary services.
