My insurance co wants a certificate of trust because of my home owners insurance and the house is in a trust. My trust is so old that I don’t have that. Will a form I get on the internet and have notarized be enough?

Any attorney can draft that certificate for you. It’s a standard form.

They won’t take my deed which lists the trust as owner. The house is not listed in the trust with an address.
I don’t have to spend a $150 or more if a certificate of trust can be printed from the internet and notarized.
The form is available on the internet.
Just because my trust is 20 years old doesn’t mean it’s invalid. They won’t take a copy of my trust either.
The deed lists the trust, they want to know the house is in the trust. I should be able to prove I have a trust some way without having to spend $150.
Like the last pages with the date, motorization, etc.

Should I go into my co recorder and ask them which page that is?
Looks like the last two pages, when declaration of trust.
So the insurance co can ask for whatever they want, such as a certificate of trust and if I don’t give them that one document, I won’t have insurance?

You can also just provide a copy of the trust declaration that the county recorder uses.
should I ask the county recorder which page that is?

Before they cancel, you should consider bringing the Department of Insurance into it. It’s why they’re there.
