[MD] How do I start a divorce proceeding?

I am just looking to file for divorce. My wife had a major stroke 5 years ago. We had agreed to divorce before her accident. I stayed to take care of her. I want to just get the filing in to start the process. I plan on selling our home with most of the equity going toward her care. Until that time comes, I will continue to take care of her until her family and I make arrangements for where she will be going. Can I file before then?

[MD] I filed a dispute with my credit card company after my lip filler service provider never rescheduled a follow up. Now he’s threatening to sue. What should I do?

Visited a provider on April 26, 2025 for a lip filler service. I did my follow-up on May 2 — we agreed he missed a spot, and he said he’d fix it later. On May 18, I reached out to express dissatisfaction and sent pictures. He called me and said he’d get back to me on May 19 to schedule a time to look at my lips and fix the problem. I never heard from him. On May 30, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, and after an investigation, I was refunded my money. Now the provider is threatening to get legal counsel against me to obtain the $650 back. What should I do next? I live in Maryland.

[MD] Can the county hold me or my family responsible for my son’s past crime?

I’m 54 and have NEVER committed a crime. My youngest son, however, was charged with a sex crime against animals. I went to adopt a dog today and was told it shows “THE FAMILY has been charged with sexual abuse of dogs” and “no one related to this person may adopt from this shelter.” His offense was from 2017. He didn’t live with me then and doesn’t live with me now. My grandson was with me—this dog is for him. This is absolutely embarrassing. I didn’t know anything was happening until detectives came to my door in the middle of the night. How can I be seen as guilty for something I never did?

[MD] Code enforcement ordered my tenant to vacate the storage garage I rent to them, but they are refusing to comply. How should I proceed?

I am a landlord that rented a storage garage on a month-to-month basis. I received a letter on May 7 from Code Enforcement in Maryland stating that an inspection was made and the tenant had set up housekeeping there and appeared to be using it as her residence. The letter said that he would be at the property on May 9 to condemn the garage and that it must be vacated. I confronted the tenant as soon as I received the letter, explained the letter, and informed her she needed to vacate in 48 hours. She has not vacated. What is the best course of action to remove her — or can I just cut the locks and remove her since she knows she has to vacate?
