If the agreement is silent or requires it, obtain written consent from the existing partner(s) and execute an amendment to the partnership agreement admitting the new partner and updating ownership, profit/loss allocations, and management rights. (FL Stat § 620.1401)

From a filing standpoint, you typically need to update your LLP’s registration with the Florida Division of Corporations. This is usually done through an amended annual report or an amendment filing reflecting the current partners. (FL Stat § 620.1210)
