I am receiving a Section 8 voucher and I have a rep payee because of being on Social Security Disability. My landlord says I have a balance, and my rep payee says I shouldn't have a balance. My rep payee receives a copy of my rent statement that I receive each month. My rep payee goes off of that. It is a set amount of $508 plus any utilities. They put 2 NSF fees and 2 late fees on my account. My rep payee doesn't receive my Social Security Disability check until the 3rd of each month. In the last 12 months, my rent was late sometimes throughout the year and I never received any fees. This is new management. I have been here since 2021.
