How can a power of attorney be revoked if the agent cannot be located and served with recission?

I filled out a recission for someone that removed his daughter as POA. She is nowhere to be found. How do I legally get it to her?

You can register it with the local court. That will ensure it is public.

I understand how challenging it can be to navigate legal matters involving power of attorney. Have you attempted to contact the daughter through any known means, such as her last known address or phone number?

Yes, she only calls her father on a text now app. She doesn't want to be found because she mismanaged his funds.

What specific steps have you already taken to ensure that the rescission is delivered to her?

Well, since I do not have an address, i tried to contact her mother who refuses my calls.

Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured they'll be able to help with your POA issue.

No, thank you

Hello! I'm Benjamin, a legal expert here to assist you with your power of attorney concerns. I understand this situation can be quite stressful, and I'm here to help you navigate it. Have you already provided the rescission letter to the banks and any other institute that she was using the POA? While locating her is important, it is more important those institutes are made aware.

I tried to give to Bank of America where she actually became co-owner of her account instead of presenting the POA. So, The recission couldn't be used.

You can register it with the local court. That will ensure it is public.

But can the new POA assume their role as POA if she never personally acknowledges receipt?

Benjamin

Benjamin

Yes, the new POA can immediately assume the authorities. The previous POAs acknowledgement is merely a formality.

Okay Thank you!
