[AZ] How do I add my dad to my deed?
To add your dad to the deed, you must list all current owners as the grantors and list your dad (plus you and your husband) as the grantees. The grantors are the current owners only (A.R.S. §33-401). You will need to complete a new form. Do not try to alter the old one.

I filled out the quitclaim deed but think it may be the wrong form. We are trying to add my father to my husband’s and my deed.

I understand the importance of getting this right. Have you already filed the quitclaim deed with the county recorder’s office?

No.

Are there any specific concerns or issues you noticed on the quitclaim deed form?

Just want to add my dad to our deed.

Is there anything else the real estate lawyer should know before I connect you?

Not that I can think of.

Hey there! I’m Lori, an attorney. 1) What city/state is the property located in? 2) Would you like a review of the deed so I can see what needs correcting?

Marana, Arizona. Yes please — the way it’s worded it looks like we are giving my dad the property.

Thanks.

Just wanted to check if you had any follow-up. If not, glad I could help — have a nice day!
