No. I bought my house under my VA loan, and I’m 100% permanently and totally disabled, so it’s completely tax-exempt. When I bought my house with my van husband in 2022, my husband walked out on us, abandoned, and ghosted. I’ve been through several hardships. Understood. Thank you so much for clarifying that. That would make him the grantor and you the grantee. With the quit claim, you don’t have use an attorney, but most often it’s drafted by an attorney. You would also need the legal description, which can be copied off the former deed, or that does require an attorney to draft it. The deed though will require a notary for your ex’s signature.

Yes we are fully prepared and on standby with that. I believe I put in the correct. Description and information we are removing his name and it will be solely under mine. I just don’t know how to find the parcel number I think.
