On April 26, 2025, I visited a provider of lip filler service. I did my follow-up on May 2, we agreed he missed a spot and agreed he would fix it later. On May 18, I reached out to the provider to express dissatisfaction and sent pictures. He called me and stated he would call me back on May 19 to schedule a time to come to the office to look at my lips and fix the problem. I never heard from him. On May 30, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, which, after an investigation, gave me my money back. Now the provider is threatening legal action against me to obtain the $650. What should I do next? I live in Maryland

My husband recently passed away. We owned everything jointly. There was no probate since I was the only heir. House is worth $450k, and his retirement $220K and other small assets. Can I still use a Small Estate Affidavit to transfer stock in his name to mine? I live in MD.

My wife and I are looking to remove my name from our current house deed. Is a quitclaim deed the only way to do this, or can we use an interspousal transfer in Maryland?

I asked a real estate question a couple of days ago and got what I thought was a good answer. However, it looks like a TOD is not legal/available in the state of MD. So I have a question about an alternative document I saw on the internet Revocable Living Trust Form

Hello! My ex-partner and I bought a house in Anne Arundel County, MD last year - I am the only borrower (only I signed the promissory note) but we are both listed on the deed of trust as tenants in common (67% me, 33% her). We have amicably split, and I am paying her $6000 for her 33% stake in the home. I filled out a template quitclaim deed with the relevant information, which I know needs to be signed in the presence of a notary and then filed with the county. I wanted to check to see whether there is anything else obvious that I am missing in this process.

I have no biological children and my husband has 3. So I have 3 stepchildren. My sister is concerned that she and her son will not have any inheritance if my husband and his children inherit after I am gone.

I'm renting a furnished apartment in Maryland. I am having some issues with my tenants and am considering how to evict them. There is no lease. But they've already moved in and prepaid for half a month. What are my options?

My will names my wife as the beneficiary and has my three adult children at the top. If my wife and I were to both die in an accident at the same time, I want my three children to be equal beneficiaries. How do I add that?
