In Hamilton County, Ohio, how can I contest a child support increase after the magistrate excluded my evidence—should I object, appeal, or file a motion to vacate?

I was recently fired from a job for leaving a negative review of my company on their page. The reason behind the review was because I’ve had multiple meetings — 3 or more — with the owner and the GM of the company about another employee’s safety and driving while I was in the truck with him. I told them very seriously, multiple times, that I did not want to ride with him anymore and that he was a safety risk to my life. He did something so bad that I felt the need to write the review because I felt unsafe at work and unable to talk to my bosses anymore about it. Am I able to sue for wrongful termination or unsafe working environment or anything?

What does “This will also be gone over with you in your transcript hearing on 8/14. Also, at that time, a schedule will be made on payment, completion of the transcript, arguments, and decision dates.” mean when referring to an objection I filed to a magistrate’s decision to a child support objection trial in Hamilton County, Ohio, juvenile court?

What should I expect from my court hearing in Ohio for a civil protection order when both parties are representing themselves? I’m the defendant — what kinds of questions am I allowed to ask?

I reported a coworker for verbally assaulting me. My boss wasn’t happy. That coworker later filed a discrimination complaint against the company; my boss said they paid him to “make him go away.” After that, my boss/owner harassed me about low occupancy. Occupancy had been under 90% for two years due to incompetent maintenance; I kept asking for help. They finally sent two maintenance workers in late April 2025. On July 11, owner emailed: get occupancy into the 90s by Aug 15 or be terminated. On July 17, I was terminated for allegedly exchanging sexually oriented texts with an “employee I supervise.” Those texts were consensual, on my personal phone, off-hours, and I did not supervise that employee.

For a lease, I have three parents co-signing for their three respective children. One of the children is 17 years old, and I was advised to list the parent as the tenant and the child as an occupant. Do I need both parents to co-sign for each child, or is one parent sufficient?

A tenant moved a woman and her kid in without telling me, and they aren't on the lease — so I think that's a breach of contract for additional occupants. Now they're saying they have 90 days because a kid is living there.

I have had a preliminary consultation with a divorce attorney. The retaining cost is $4,000, which is a bit steep currently. I decided to file the preliminary paperwork myself as a result. If, in fact, an atty is needed further into the process, I plan to certainly secure that service. My husband was diagnosed with dementia last October, and his needs far outweigh what I am reasonably able to provide. During the consultation with the attorney, she mentioned that the state may mandate a representative advocate for my husband due to his diagnosis. Is this the case? Additionally, my children sold the home to us with $60,000 equity for my sake to be close to the grandchildren. Can this be considered? I have not filed yet.

I recently discovered people living in a run-down house I own in Ohio. I had no prior knowledge of that and did not approve for them to do so. The local police told me that I need to file for eviction in the courts. I do not know what eviction form to use or how to alter it. They have no lease and pay no rent. In fact, I do not know their names.

After this form, which forms do I get to finish filing my lawsuit in the correct claims court? No one will help me because I have no bodily injuries. All I have to sue for is the damage to my car and my loss of wages because I can’t work. No lawyer will take my case, I have to do this on my own.
