How do I provide proof of ownership for household items on the small estate affidavit?

On my Affidavit of Small Estate, I put down my daughters as being heirs of my late husband’s property: one being a computer and another a rocking chair. The form says I must attach proof of ownership to the small estate form for these items. I don’t have proof of ownership for these items. Their value is $500 each.

[NC] Will a statutory short-form power of attorney in North Carolina give us the authority to create a trust, sell co-owned real estate, or execute a quitclaim deed for our home?

We are creating a STATUTORY SHORT FORM POWER OF ATTORNEY for the purposes of creating a trust, sale of co-owned real estate, and possibly a quitclaim for co-ownership of our house. Will a statutory short form power of attorney allow us to do these things?

Just sent a Simple Estate Affidavit for my deceased mother. She has lived in Portland, Oregon, since 1965 and returned to Canada in 2016 due to dementia. I couldn’t change the place of death, but the death certificate is Canadian. I'm trying to access her bank account and safety deposit box. Looking for input on the form and whether it’s correct. [AL] In Alabama, can I sell my house now and give the proceeds to two of my daughters despite having a will, or alternatively sell the house, buy a new one, and add one daughter as a co-owner?

I have a will listing my house, savings, and gold and silver coins. I want to know if I can sell my house now and give the proceeds to two of my daughters before my death. If not, can I sell the house, buy another, and list one daughter as co-owner?

[HI] How can I correct a rejected Hawaii Transfer on Death Deed when the notary wrote my full middle name but I signed with an initial, and what’s the proper way to show that both name versions refer to me?

The state of Hawaii rejected my Transfer on Death Deed because my name (Mary, which is how I sign my name, without writing out my middle name, E). But the notary hand-printed my full name on the notarized page, even though I signed using just the initial E. My driver’s license is my ID. It also has my full name printed on it, but I signed it as Mary. What is the best legal way to correct this? Is there a way to indicate that both ways are me?

[TX] Can I use a small estate affidavit if there is only one heir?

Husband’s parents both died within 32 days of each other. They have no real estate or property other than small personal items, leaving only the contents of their checking account, total less than $7100 (or less, depending on whether or not Social Security retracts some funds). I have drafted separate Small Estate Affidavits for each. My question is this: in their wills, my husband is the only stated heir. They have a second son, noted in the will, not named as an heir. Is the affidavit sufficient?

[OR] Does an attorney need to review a notarized certificate of trust?

Hi, my husband passed away last Sunday and the bank is requesting a new certificate of trust since the last one was in 2001. We have a living trust and I filled in the grantor with myself and my husband as grantors as stated in our trust. Do I just need to have it notarized and take it back to the bank, or do I need to take it to my attorney? Thanks for your help.
