I am starting a business with three members in an LLC, and we as a group will be entering into a business agreement to partner with another LLC that is going under. The agreement ownership reads 40% to the current owner and the new partners (my group) reads 20% per member. Is this a legal agreement giving the group 60% of the business? Also, the Owner wanted to add the following statement: In the event of a disagreement where all parties cannot come to a unanimous agreement after mediation, the final vote will be Current Owner 51%, to the remaining 49% vote. Is this binding and does it not contradict with the ownership agreement of 40 - 60?

So right now it’s court ordered that I pay child support, but me and my wife aren’t divorced yet and are working on it. I’m filling out a parenting plan. If it says on the parenting plan that there shall be no child support payments due to either party—because that’s what we have agreed on—would that take away the child support payments I’m currently paying?

I am preparing a quit claim deed for VA in Prince William County and I need to add this verbiage since it’s going from an individual to trust and no monies are exchanged. Where will I put this: "This document is exempt from Virginia recordation tax for the following reason: The deed conveys real estate to trustees of a revocable inter vivos trust, and the grantors in the deed and the beneficiaries of the trust are the same persons, and no consideration has passed between the grantor and the beneficiaries (Virginia Code § 58.1-811(A)(12))."

I am a disabled veteran living with my girlfriend in Chesapeake, Virginia. If we file a quitclaim deed, will it qualify as a gift for taxes? Or is it tax-exempt? I am trying to get on the deed to get an exemption on the city's property tax.
