My landlords are withholding my security deposit. They withheld my entire $2,600. We did not document the move out. Our lease ended on 3/31. We moved most of our stuff out on 3/28. They asked us on 3/28 if they need to move out our stuff for us. And we told them no, we aren't done moving and cleaning. They began cleaning and repairs on 3/28. We had also told them in our email that we would like to do a walkthrough. We told them this in our notice that we are not renewing our lease in January. We agreed on a walkthrough on 3/30. When we arrived, a lot was already cleaned and repaired. So we didn't see a point in taking pictures.

Hello. I am the landlord of a small apartment and need to evict a tenant. In the lease agreement, they are now on a month-to-month lease and specifically have their initials next to a clause stating, β€œThe tenant hereby specifically waives his/her rights to a 30-day written notice to vacate the premises for nonpayment of rent.” Their most recent check bounced, and they need to be evicted for multiple reasons, but I want to make sure I can legally send this eviction notice and have them out asap.

My sister owns the house I live in and I allowed a friend to live there. He has been there for about 21 years. In the last 5 years he appears to have developed schizophrenia and has tried to self-medicate with marijuana and meth. He often hallucinates and hears voices and talks back to the voices which can be screaming and through the night. He has trashed one or more rooms in the house three times. The City has red-tagged the house and will only remove it if I start the process of eviction.

Hi, my previous lease agreement was with a property management company for a property that I own. A monthly pet fee was not discussed. They started charging that monthly fee to my tenant. That fee was kept by my property management company, and they did not pass it on to me (the landlord).
