My landlords are withholding my security deposit. They withheld my entire $2,600. We did not document the move out. Our lease ended on 3/31. We moved most of our stuff out on 3/28. They asked us on 3/28 if they need to move out our stuff for us. And we told them no, we aren't done moving and cleaning. They began cleaning and repairs on 3/28. We had also told them in our email that we would like to do a walkthrough. We told them this in our notice that we are not renewing our lease in January. We agreed on a walkthrough on 3/30. When we arrived, a lot was already cleaned and repaired. So we didn't see a point in taking pictures.

I want to sue my employer for unpaid wages. They’re being taken over by a larger company, so I’m suing both. Are these causes of action acceptable? Breach of contract for unpaid wages. Wage theft/failure to pay wages per the employment agreement, leading to vehicle repossession and late fees (Nat’l Mkt. Share, Inc. v. Sterling Nat’l Bank, 392 F.3d 520, 525 (2d Cir. 2004)). Fraud—deceptive practices about payroll, W-2s, employer business taxes, and debts to health insurers. Unjust enrichment—kept benefits without paying me; debt collectors contacted me, lowered my credit score—intentional infliction of emotional distress. I am in Texas and got charged with Misdemeanor A for abandoning a dog. The dog was a stray that I picked up and took to a shelter to get checked and see if they could take him. It started growling at my kid in the back, and I let it go from my car. What can I do to defend my case? This happened in Waller County.

I am a co-owner of the home that is being deeded over to me. We are getting it notarized in Washington State, but the paperwork shows Texas. How do I change that? Also, do I need a Special Warranty Deed or just a Quitclaim Deed form? The house has a clear title, and we own it outright—no loans on it, etc.

Hello, a friend of mine wants to rent out my pool and invite some of their friends. I’m okay with that; however, I want her to sign a contract stating she does not hold me or my property liable should an accident or death occur during the time they are on my property. Is there such a form? Thank you.
